There have been many things going on in Salisbury, including a huge amount of networking and checking out venues in which Asta#Plays can run community events.
I have been reaching out to pubs to gauge interest and to chat licensing for Sing#Inn locations, and have also been in touch with the library in Salisbury with a view to hosting Share a Soundventure events there. Being now officially on the books for the Salisbury Area Music Cooperative and Salisbury Area Youth Music means that I have had the opportunity to engage in musical activities including string ensembles and wind bands with some of the young musicians in the area, which has been enormous fun! Next week I have been invited to pop along and help at the "Stay and Play" morning run by Wiltshire Creative.
I've really enjoyed getting to meet some members of the community and learn what's already happening, where, so I shall crack on with that and hopefully meet some more of you soon!
